When I was in 1st Grade in Barth Elementary School in Pottstown and I Got Head Lice…

It was after math class and we were lying up to go to art class. I found a head lice bug on my shoulder and I told my teacher about it. She send me to the nurses office and the nurse checked my hair. She called my other siblings teachers and told them to send my siblings to the nurse office. When my sisters and brother came into the office, the nurse checked my siblings head. They found head lice in my younger sister’s hair too. She called my mother and told her about the lice and we couldn’t be in school until the lice is gone from our hair. My mother came and picked up my younger sister and I. When we got home, my mother was yelling at me that I should’ve stayed quiet about the bug on my shoulder and she told me to gather up all of my stuff animals. I pilled up my stuff animals and she forced me to put them in a trash bag. She said she is going to throw my stuff animals away. There was a lime green teddy bear that I loved very dearly and I asked her if we could keep it. My mother said no and she forced me to put it in the trash bag. Then she forced me to put the trash bag into the trash totter outside and she said this was my punishment for telling the nurse that I had lice in my head. She then put my sister’s bunnies in a trash bag and she told my younger sister that she need to keep this in the shed outside in the backyard while they try to get the bugs out of her head. She put the trash bag with my sister’s bunnies in the shed outside and after my sister got all of the head lice out of her hair, she got her bunnies back. I wasn’t allow to have any more stuff animals.
